Regarding our visit to Lopburi: You must always remember that, no matter what, monkeys are wild animals, not pets. Even though they may look cute, especially the young ones, we always recommend to keep your distance, not bring any food with you and keep all your belongings in your bag. You don't need to come close as it’s just as fun to watch the monkeys from a distance.
There are still monkeys around Phra Prang Sam Yot in Lopburi, but fewer than in the past. Many were relocated by authorities due to overpopulation. Please note that Lopburi is not a zoo; the monkeys are wild and roam freely, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Bangkok’s traffic is often notoriously congested, so we kindly ask all guests to arrive on time. As our tours run on a group basis, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After this grace period, the guide will begin the tour. If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available day, though a rescheduling fee of THB 500 per person will apply.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued. Cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.
We provide hotel pick-up only from accommodations located on
ear Khao San Road and on Siam Square. If you are not an actual guest at one of the hotels in our pick-up list, the designated meeting point will be our office on Chao Khamrop Road in Chinatown. IMPORTANT: The exact pick-up time will be sent to you via private message on the booking platform one day before the tour. Depending on the number of participants, hotel pick-up will be between 7:30 - 8:00 hrs). Please check your email (including junk folder) carefully the day before your tour to avoid any delays or missed departures.
